Selection of cleaning solutions:

     Nature of fabric
     Nature of stain/spill
The upholstery fabrics vary greatly in nature. Most of fabrics used are cotton, wool, linen rayon, olefin or sometimes mixture of these fabrics. In addition different fabrics are dyed by with different colors. Age of upholstery should also be considered for the cleaning selection.
Food and beverages stain removal:
For the removal of food or beverages stains, mix 2 cups of cool water and one tablespoon of liquid dish washing solution. Apply it to the stained area with white clean cloth.
Berry and fruits stains|:
1 tablespoon of white vinegar and two-third of a cup of rubbing alcohol is recommended as a cleaning solution.
Greasy and oily stains:
First absorb as much of the oil or grease as possible by sprinkling the area with cornstarch or baking soda and letting it sit for approximately 15-20 minutes, and then vacuum up with the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
